DuckTales 。is one of the most beloved cartoons of the '80s, and a large part of that was thanks to the iconic theme song, which has kept kids "woo-oo"-ing for decades, even after the show left the air.。
So when Disney XD announced it was rebooting the cartoon with an all-star cast that includes David Tennant, Danny Pudi, Ben Schwartz, Bobby Moynihan and Lin-Manuel Miranda, we were all curious about what the reboot would do with the show's theme.。
When the original song's writer, Mark Mueller, was approached to hear the new version, he admitted that he was "nervous," but ultimately thought that the reboot's team did "an amazing job."。 Mashable。has an exclusive look into the making of the new theme song above, and you can listen to the new rendition and check out the opening credits below.。
"It's sort of a thrill for me that thirty years later, kids who listened to the song originally are now gonna listen to it with their children," Mueller notes in our making-of featurette. "It doesn't get better than that." 。
