On Tuesday afternoon, President Trump wrapped up a speech in front of the National Federation of Independent Businesses that included a 20-plus minute diatribe about immigration by waltzing over to an innocent American flag and embracing it. Literally. 。

It's not the first time Trump has hugged an American flag. There were at least two other instances on the 2016 campaign trail when he enveloped the flag in his small hands and arms.。
On one occasion, he added a creepy little shake to the hug. 。

This is, after all, coming from the guy who has made quite a ruckus about NFL players not respecting the flag by taking part in peaceful protests before games. 。
