The next Hearthstoneexpansion is venturing into the dinosaur-filled jungles of Un'Goro Crater with Journey to Un'Goroin April.
Hearthstone: Journey to Un'Gorois bringing 135 new cards to Blizzard's online competitive card game in early April, including dangerous dinosaurs, predatory plant life, elite elementals and a volatile volcano. In the announcement video above, Hearthstoneproduction director Jason Chayes and game director Ben Brode discuss some of the new cards and unique features coming to the game soon.

These legendary cards require players to complete a certain task (or multiple tasks) to earn a card as a reward. The only Quest shown in the announcement was Awaken the Makers, which costs one mana and gives the astoundingly strong card Amara, Warden of Hope as its reward.
Credit: Blizzard entertainmentQuests are applied to hero portraits similarly to Secrets, except opponents can see them because the rewards are so powerful.
"Quests will give you access to some of the most powerful cards Hearthstonehas ever seen -- if you can complete them," Chayes said in the announcement.
There is a brand new keyword for some new minion cards in Journey to Un'Gorocalled adapt. When a minion's adapt ability is triggered, the player can choose from three random buffs to give their minion a tailor-made advantage.
The only card with adapt shown was the Verdant Longneck, a five-mana 5/4 beast.

Elementals have never had their own card type until Journey to Un'Goro. Chayes and Brode teased new elemental cards coming with the new expansion including a tar pit elemental and a new legendary Mage card, Pyros, which returns to your hand as a stronger card each time it dies until its final form:

With the new type elemental, a handful of older elemental cards will have their type changed to elemental to fit the new description.
In the middle of Un'Goro Crater sits an active volcano, so naturally there's a new spell card for Shaman called Volcano that rains indiscriminate fiery death upon all minions on the board.
Via GiphyThe new expansion also marks the retirement of last season's expansions and adventures, Blackrock Mountain, The Grand Tournamentand League of Explorers. Those cards will no longer be available for decks in Standard mode.
