SpaceX is going to Mars. Not immediately, and many things are still uncertain, but the company sure has grand plans -- from the initial flights with the Dragon, to send colonists to the red planet in a huge rocket -- and all that within a decade or so. 。
During Elon Musk's keynote in Guadalajara, Mexico, on Tuesday, a four-and-a-half minute video showed a pretty overview of how the company plans to send humans to Mars. That video, which you can see below, was shared just before Musk took the stage. 。

Later, SpaceX also shared a couple dozen, high-resolution still images on its Flickr account. Some are stills from the video (they will work better for wallpaper purposes, since -- unlike the images in the video -- they contain no overlay text), and some are photos used in Musk's presentation itself. 。SEE ALSO:People asked Elon Musk some very bizarre questions at the SpaceX Mars event 。
The renders won't teach you anything new about SpaceX's plans to colonize Mars (and, eventually, the rest of the solar system), but they're beautiful to look at.
