There's an easter egg hidden in plain sight in Super Mario Odysseyand it has some fans theorizing about potential new content coming to the game.

Twitter user Frying_Pants pointed out that it's actually a map of a level in Super Mario 64, the first 3D Super Mario game from 1996.

The level is Bob-omb Battlefield, the first level Mario ventures into from Princess Peach's castle and probably the most recognizable level from Super Mario 64.
Here's another angle of the map that Hint Toad is always looking at:

The map is also partially visible inside the Odyssey ship itself.

This is a fun little reference to the 3D Super Mario game that started it all, but some fans on Reddit suspect (and hope) that it's more than just a reference. They want Bob-omb Battlefield as an addition to the game in the form of downloadable content (DLC).
Some Super Mario Odysseyfans extrapolated this theory, mapping out a lineup of DLCs that would bring in additional kingdoms from even more 3D Super Mario games.
That would be quite a lot of DLC, especially considering that no main-line Super Mario has ever had DLC. Then again, neither had the Legend of Zelda series until Breath of the Wild revealed two DLC packs, one of which is still to come.
We can continue to dream.
