It's the end of an era, fellow fans of Schitt's Creek. Co-creators Daniel and Eugene Levy announced in a heartfelt message that the comedy will return in 2020 for a sixth and final season.
The duo are concluding it on their own terms with an ending they've always envisioned for the show.
Season 6, which will start shooting in a few weeks, will consist of 14 episodes.

Schitt's Creek found its footing over the last few years and is easily one of the best comedies on air right now. It stars father-son duo Dan and Eugene Levy, as well as Catherine O'Hara, Annie Murphy, Noah Reid, Emily Hampshire, and Chris Elliott.

Until then, Season 5 of Schitt's Creek is currently airing on Pop TV in the U.S. with the season finale set for April 10. Seasons 1-4 are streaming on Netflix.
