Galaxy AI officially made its debut alongside the Samsung Galaxy S24 series in January, boasting eye-catching features like Circle to Search and Live Translate.
In late February, Samsung announced that the AI feature set would be rolled out to the Galaxy S23 series, the Tab S9, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Z Flip 5.
However, it looks like Samsung isn't stopping there. In a new press release on Monday, Samsung revealed that Galaxy AI will now expand to eight more devices.
As part of the new One UI 6.1 update, Galaxy AI is coming to the following eight devices:
Samsung Galaxy S22
Samsung Galaxy S22+
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra
In addition to Circle to Search and Live Translate, these devices will get Chat assist, Interpreter, Note Assist, Transcript Assist, Browsing Assist, Generative Edit, Edit Suggestion, and AI-Generated Wallpaper.
Keep in mind, though, that Galaxy AI's Instant Slow-Mo feature (instantly plays videos in slow motion), available on the S24 and S23 series, will not be rolled out to this set of devices, as The Verge pointed out.
Galaxy AI will roll out to the aforementioned devices some time in early May.
