Regardless of the exact date, the timing is important as it will likely predate Apple's iPhone announcement, which is expected in September.。
The Galaxy Note 8 is an incredibly important device, as it comes after the Note 7, which was pulled from the market after numerous reports of devices overheating or even exploding. It also follows Samsung Galaxy S8, which -- while quite a handsome and powerful device -- came with an awkwardly placed fingerprint sensor, the same camera as its predecessor and one key feature missing, Samsung's smart voice assistant Bixby. 。
The Note 8 is expected to be have a 6.3-inch screen, which is significantly larger than the Galaxy S8's 5.8-inch screen. It's also rumored to have a dual rear camera, a Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and a 3,300mAh battery. The fingerprint sensor will likely remain in the same horrible spot on the back, though. 。
