Your smartphone's notifications might already be clogged with junk, but what about a short story instead?
Serial Box, an iOS app for serving up serialized fiction on devices, announced in a blog post that it's launching something called Microfiction Mondays, starting from Jul. 9.。

"The perfect bite-sized story for a busy afternoon filled with meetings, we hope these will provide a moment of fictional solace for our Serial Boxers," according to its blog post. 。

What's neat, or maybe annoying for some, is that these stories are transient. They won't live anywhere on the app, meaning if you inadvertently clear your notifications, you won't see it again. 。
The style might bear resemblance to the short fiction published to Twitter that was a thing for a while, when the platform still had a 140-character limit.。 [h/t。[h/t 。
