If you were wondering, "If there are more affordable Teslas coming, then who is the Model 3 for?" Musk has an answer for you.
"With something like the Model 3, it's designed such that roughly half of people can afford the car," Musk admitted.
While this is exciting news for everyone, especially EV fans, let's curb our enthusiasm a bit. After all, before it builds even more accessible EVs, Tesla first has to build and deliver the 400,000 Model 3s that have been pre-ordered worldwide. Moreover, it has to achieve that and also turn a profit for the first time ever.
So, to you, Musk, I say: Keep on dreaming the impossible dream. But don't ignore the challenges directly in front of you. You have a lot of people waiting for those Model 3.
